Refurbishment and repair
Refurbishment is not a wipe and a prayer. We open the machine, find the tired part, and only then decide if it deserves another owner.
What we actually do
A unit arrives dusty, labelled with someone else's asset tag, or simply 'not turning on'. We identify it, note the fault, and quote the repair if it is your machine coming back to you.
If we are preparing stock to sell, the same bench rules apply. No mystery boards. No 'it worked on my desk' without a checklist.
- Diagnosis before parts are swapped at random
- Upgrades when they change the useful life: SSD, RAM, battery
- Cleaning that includes fans and vents, not just the lid
- A written grade when the unit is resold
What we will not pretend
Some failures are not worth the parts. A cracked panel on a very old laptop, a server generation nobody can still power sensibly, a battery that costs more than the machine. We will say so.
Yes. That is repair, not a sale. Tell us the symptom on the contact form and we will say whether to bring it in or ship it.
Often, yes. A tested used part is a normal part of refurbishment. If you need a new part, ask and we will price it that way.
