Rebootronics

hello, from the bench

Good tech deserves a second life.

We collect, test, repair and resell servers, laptops, desktops, displays and the rest of the kit that offices retire too soon.

  • Yes, we actually test every unit
  • Data wiped before it moves on
  • Grades A, B and C, written down
  • 90-day warranty
Tested ✓90-day warranty

Servers

Refurbished servers

Refurbished and used servers for offices, labs and small data rooms. We test the chassis, wipe the drives and list the parts that are actually in the box.

  • Rack, tower and blade
  • RAM, drives, PSUs, CPUs
  • Wiped before resale

why bother with us

Refurbished should mean someone did the boring work.

Plenty of used gear is just used. We would rather be slow and specific than fast and vague.

Honest stock notes

01

We open the case

A shiny lid can hide a tired fan. If we have not looked inside, it is not ready to sell.

02

The wipe is a real wipe

Formats are not erasure. Drives that fail the wipe are destroyed, not quietly passed on.

03

Grades you can argue with

A, B and C describe looks, not a vibe. Function is the entry ticket for every grade.

04

A person answers

Quotes, trade-ins and ‘does this RAM fit?’ go to the team, not a maze of menus.

note to self: do not call a scuffed lid ‘like new’.

from dusty to dependable

How a unit actually moves through the bench.

  1. Step 1

    Collect

We pick up, or you drop off. Asset tags and a rough count are noted before anything is unboxed in a heap.

  2. Step 2

    Inspect

Serial, model, obvious damage, missing chargers. This is where we decide repair, resale, parts or recycling.

  3. Step 3

    Data-wipe

Storage is erased with a proper method. Drives that fail the wipe are destroyed, not formatted and forgotten.

  4. Step 4

    Repair

Faults get a diagnosis first. We replace the part that failed, not three parts that might have.

  5. Step 5

    Upgrade

Where it changes the useful life — an SSD, more RAM, a tired battery — we upgrade and say what we fitted.

  6. Step 6

    Test

Ports, thermals, memory, storage health, panel, battery. Servers get a longer run than a quick power-on.

  7. Step 7

    Clean

Cases, keyboards, fans and vents. A sticky laptop is not refurbished, it is just someone else's dust.

  8. Step 8

    Certify

Grade, spec and wipe result are written down so the listing matches the unit in the box.

  9. Step 9

    Warranty

It leaves with the warranty on your invoice. If a covered fault shows up, you deal with us, not a shrug.

same machine, different day

Before the bench, and after.

Drag the slider. These are example photos, not a unit from our bench. Dust, a dull screen and a sticky keyboard go in. A tested, wiped, graded machine comes out.

the quiet win

A second life is the point.

Making a new laptop or server costs materials and energy. Keeping a working one in service avoids that. We will not print a dramatic number until we have measured it.

for the office, not only the home desk

Bulk supply, and a proper way to retire the old fleet.

Schools, startups, resellers and data rooms. Tell us the spec. If you are clearing a storeroom, ITAD and buy-back can ride along with the same conversation.

Sample placeholders, not real reviews

Words from customers — still to be collected.

“Sample note. Replace this with something a real buyer actually said, in their words.”

It means the unit was used, then inspected, repaired or upgraded where it needed it, cleaned, wiped and tested. It is not a new device, and we do not describe it as one. The grade tells you how it looks.

Bring us a tired machine. Or take a tested one home.

Either conversation starts with what the unit actually is. We will take it from there.
