Data wiping and IT asset disposition
ITAD is the grown-up version of 'we have a cupboard full of old laptops'. You need the data gone, the serials noted, and a decision: resell, reuse, or recycle.
Erasure, not a quick format
A format leaves data behind. We use erasure methods suited to the drive, and we can share the method and the result for your records. If a drive fails erasure, it is destroyed, not quietly resold.
- Serial capture for laptops, desktops, servers and loose drives
- Factory reset for networking gear and NAS units
- Failed media separated for recycling
- A report you can hand to an auditor — scope agreed before we start
Disposition
After the wipe, useful equipment can be bought back, refurbished for you, or prepared for your own donation. The rest goes to e-waste recycling. You should not have to guess which is which.
Ask us. Some jobs are done on site, some on our bench. It depends on volume, the media, and how your security team wants it handled.
